Jamaica: February 2011

In February 2011, my parents were generous enough to take me, my best friend, my sister, my brother-in-law and my nephew to their favorite place in the world – Jamaica. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort for a week of sheer relaxation and rejuvenation. You can read all about the cultural, physical, emotional [and alcoholic] journeys we took.

Why I NEED to go to Jamaica – one of my pre-trip, high-anticipation posts
Coming Right Up: Another Passport Stamp! – before leaving, I get excited about finally getting another passport stamp, three years later!
Back stateside yet again – I [and my liver] survived Jamaica!
Embracing the All-Inclusive Lifestyle: Yeah, Mon! – all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink lifestyles? That might be for me.
Learning to Disconnect – how I learned to live on “island time” and without the ties of technology
No Problems, Mon, Just Situations – the care-free nature of Jamaicans only became a problem for me once…when fate decided it was necessary for me to injure myself on our last night.
Interesting Encounters of the Jamaican Kind – the numerous interesting folks we encountered during our week-long stay in Jamaica.
The Experience of a Lifetime – We spent a day of our vacation climbing the Dunns River Falls and playing with dolphins!
